Tom has extensive real estate experience including the design, construction, owner’s representation, and development of 17,438 + residential units in multifamily developments, over 800,000s.f. of new commercial & 400+ retail/commercial TI’s in 11 states with a total value of $4.8 billion dollars to date.

Tom manages Spire Real Estate Group applying 30+ years of experience directing overall business operations and development strategies including initial site selection, entitlement processing and pre-construction activities managing the overall direction of the design team and ensuring underwriting fundamentals are maintained utilizing integrated project delivery and lean methodologies. He also oversees the general contractor during PreCon services thru certificate of occupancy ensuring quality, schedule and budget are maintained while reducing investment risk. He manages our 3rd party property management operations team thru lease up and disposition.

Tom received his Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development and Construction Management from the University of Denver and undergrad at San Francisco State University.

Thomas joined BrainBizz in 1977, after graduating from Harvard Business School. He earned her MBA with high distinction, was a Baker scholar, won the Brown prize as the most outstanding marketing student in her class

Thomas has contributed to a number of leading management and business journals, such as the Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal, as well as given speeches at leadership conferences around the world. An active leader not only in the business world, but in the community as a whole, Thomas’s accomplishments are numerous. In 2007, he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from “Consulting” magazine and was honored at the magazine’s awards dinner for women leaders in consulting.
